You know john pissed you off. He threatened to sue you and bully you and tried to scare you and hoped you would go away. You showed him. You know that was what got this going. You are not trying to clean up the industry.
Listen loud and clear to what I am saying: If you wanted to punish TMM or make sure you held them accountable you would have stopped with your letters to the Attorney General and FTC or whoever else you reported this to. ( In my opinion ) TMM should have been more forthcoming, they should have had better security measures in places protecting the master list of accounts, and they should have handeled things much better.
Now how in the hell does bringing this to the attention of local news papers help clean up the industry. The readers don't know who TMM or NATS is. The porn buyers will not boycott JOhn's company. They will not hold John accountable. You could have accomplished your mission by just working with the govt to make sure THEY did what was needed to do to make sure this didn't happen again.
Yes John fucked up, tried to keep it quiet, pissed you off, etc... whatever. If you really want to portray yourself as someone trying to clean up the industry why don't you start with spyware and companies like zango. They affect both mainstream and adult companies and they steal hundreds of millions of dollars in sales a year, and the shit is illegal. Why don't you go after them instead of someone who put too many of your credit card numbers on your receipt. Go after stolen content and try to help the millions of dollars of last sales there as well. So many HUGE issues that shit on this industry and you picked John fuck up which is a 1 on a scale of 1 - 10, 10 being spyware and stolen content. Spyware would have been the perfect thing for you, you get to protect surfers and mainstream and adult webmasters. Too bad Zango didn't threaten to sue you or you might actually be doing some good.
