Of course you can, but the damage is already done. SOME people will believe you sure, but once the word is out, you're never gonna convince everyone.
Shit, just look at the news today. Once something's reported, that's the way it is.
10 more years and the legal system in the US will consist of a prosecutor, the defendant and his attorneys, and a judge presiding over the twice weekly aired trial (two hour opening show, 4 hour finale with highlights, and all the other shows just one hour long), all for the benefit of the jury...a TV audience who'll vote guilty or not guilty...over the course of a two month period to best monitize ratings and advertising dollars.
