all psychiatric diagnoses are open to debate, it's not like there is a blood test or a scan that will tell a doctor - a bunch of shrinks get together and put all the symptoms together and voila, a new disorder is invented. ADD, Anxiety Disorder, SAD - these are all illnesses that didn't exist 20 or 30 years ago - they don't create new disorders until the shrinks decide they have seen so much of one particular set of symptoms that seems to be somewhat different from disorders already classifieds - and the drug companies are always pushing for new disorders so they can push more pills.

this guy fits into probably 10 different disorders - six of one half dozen of another - bottom line is he does have a personality disorder. whether he's dangerous or not, nobody can predict that, there are tens of thousands of people like him and they never go postal - but if one day he did do something violent looking back at the trail he's left behind nobody would be surprised and everybody would be outraged how he was allowed to slip through the cracks.
