I want to see if she is on the same regime as I am with the Bactrim ( Septra)
Depending on whether she has MRSA or not-
Mine was diagnosed MRSA and I am willing to bet anything that she might have it too-
This is pandemic in the Valley and many in Vegas will unlikely contract this as well
People need to be warned and educated on this

sorry to hear this KB and hope you and Kira both recover quickly. I had MRSA year before last and it was a bitch. every nick or cut became staph infected from a spider bite to a razor scrape. we can compare battle wounds if you make it to Vegas. to Kira: for the next several months you need to immediately clean ANY slight scrape with betadine, apply antibiotic cream and cover with a bandaid that seals it until healed. when you have gone 8 months without a new infection you are said to be "in the clear". half the highschool water polo team here in south oc came down with it from the pool. all pools here closed and locker rooms to be disinfected. the gym is a known culpret of this strain of staph. i came down with it after returning to the gym myself. be careful everyone
