I fail to see how the industry's current reputation has anything to do with his attempting to ruin it further.
The fact is, he's trying to take income away from you, me and everyone else by making people distrust us even further.
It's pretty stupid to sit back and go "well, he is trying to hurt the industry but the industry already has a bad reputation so let's just let him run it into the ground even more."
