Playing the guitar can be fun. It can be fun to play with someone else who plays guitar as well. However, I'm pretty sure I know what you're talking about. Theres a time to play guitars and then there are times when you just shouldn't do it. I have a buddy who does it when he shouldn't. It becomes annoying very quick. At parties, he'll pull out a guitar. When you're trying to watch a movie, he'll pull out a guitar. Hell, even when you're talking to him on the phone he'll start playing guitar. Like I said, it's fucking annoying. I think he uses it as a way of attempting to get laid, which has not happened. Like I said, guitars are fun to play and some people have some real talents, but some people just fuck around with them at the wrong times and it does become annoying.
