Holidays are just another day on the calendar. I work year around, on weekends and at night. Holidays were invented so lazy people had an excuse for why they were not doing something productive. The only thing holidays are is an inconvenience because the bank, the post office, etc is closed and I cant get anything done.

As far as watching the ball drop, I have seen that before. Its the same ball every year and when it gets to the bottom, an indicator lights up telling me what year it is. Thanks, but I know what the year is. I have a clock on my computer. It will tell me when the new year has arrived.
