i tell them i am a web developer and that i do search engine marketing, which i do, and they say for what? and i say for anything.
then i make a joke that i work for some adult companies right now cuz theres lots of money there. they laugh.
people are not as scared of us as you may think. matter of fact, many of us are far less dangerous to society than many of the teachers, cops, school bus drivers, and counselors that i've seen get rolled up on to catch a predator.
