Not every "big company" pulls selfish shit though. i seem to remember a handful of guys bucking up hundreds of thousands to fight against the old CDA shit which would have made free porn illegal in the U.S. and wherever else would cross-comply. The proposed legislation was going to require age verification (most likely via credit card primarily) to see ANY porn. People bucked up to fight against it as an assault on the first amendment and something that would be a technological problem. But imagine if it did pass how much better pay sites would do?
