Microsoft has never given a shit though due to having little to no competition that they can't crush with the might of their marketing or just buy outright. NATs on the other hand isn't in that position and so this mess will strengthen them internally, if and only if they have the strength to withstand the shit storm and the decreased revenue they are sure to experience for awhile.
While will76 is correct that there are 1000s of other mistakes that can be made, you can be sure that NATs is in a far better position than any other company to plug up their particlar mistake than any of the other companies.. In addition, they'll be taking a much harder look at all surrounding issues with a knowledge that other companies don't have and thus will be able to plug up some other holes.. All in all, NATs WILL likely be more secure from this specific type of mistake/hole than other companies that haven't experienced it. That's the point. And no.. I don't like NATs.. but it's not in my best interest for them to be destroyed because of this.
Just think of all the programs out there that have custom software and so we never hear about their breeches.
