For the record Hitler was one of the most evil men of the 20th Century, along with Stalin and Pol Pot.
I knew people who survived the concentration camps and lost the rest of their family in them. People with numbers tattooed on their arms, people who were forced to choose between saving themselves and or joining their families in the gas chambers. The holocaust is not something I read about in a book. I learned about it from people who survived it.
Being oppressed is no excuse for becoming an oppressor.
