It had nothing to do with his public speaking abilities. He has been in Congress how long? 18 years? If he can't speak in public by now, he never will.
The problem is the things he says he wants to do. He can't back up how he would do them. Of course, he isn't as smart as the paultards on GFY.

Maybe from a Canadian POV. But think about it, if the US did everything he suggests with the military and foreign policy, you guys would actually have to get your own military budget.

He started throwing out the "trillion" number as a response to everything because he had no clue. You are aware of course that 100's of billions is only a small fraction of a trillion, right? And with no income tax . . . well . . .
By the way, you did hear him mention use fees for the highways, right? Can you imagine LA with toll roads? How many major cities have you driven in that had toll roads? How many toll roads have you been on that weren't meant as a shortcut?
Let me tell you, they suck, and for the most part, the toll roads I have been on in other states totally suck. I can't believe they are charging me to drive on them.
Then of course, there are the toll roads that are actually owned by other countries. Those are a real piece of work.
