Did exactly that.
One thing not to do is a mind-messing based on dreams and emotion - met so many people from other countries who seem to be guided more on emotion than much else and dreaming of palm trees, deserted beaches and furry critters
Sure they are all there, but taken for granted after a while.
Yep... tended to stick around the Caribbean and Latin America area and no need (least if you are a webmaster) to give up much in respect of earning capacity - in many ways these countries offer much more re online activity. Also extended into real estate in this area and that has been just awesome, but the best days (least for the moment) in that market may have probably passed and it's much less likely being able to pick up hectacres of land for peanuts - these are now selling for crazy prices.
Despite that - the Carib islands and Latin America is still a nice area and offers a much higher lifestyle (and side benefits like little or no taxation), but really depends on personal wishes/preferences.
