I did it for a year. I decided not to sell everything as I knew I wanted to come back in time, and just headed out, unsure of how long I would stay. I went down to mexico and started living in a hut in the jungle. It was a small village that had electricity and phones, so I was able to work over dialup still. It was fantastic. I could work from my hammock if the mood struck.

I don't know why more people don't do it. They think there are things stopping them, but really there isn't.
