:stop Anyone here consider X-mas a religious holiday?

I mean really...It was a pagan holiday, Yule (among others), Adapted by Christianity because people wouldn't stop practicing and let's face it, they can't burn everyone as a witch.

And nowadays...it's just a big capitalistic way to drain funds from what's left of the middle class to the upper class that's running the country. To keep the sheep occupied while they run their agenda of keeping everyone in control.

At this stage it's just a fun thing for the kids, a tradition. At least to me. And, I'm not even sure how much fun it is for them anymore anyway. All the fun, all the life has been sucked out of the holiday, with gift cards given instead of actual gifts, I don't see how they can believe in Santa when they get all the latest technology from bestbuy, and now they want to stop Santa from saying HO HO HO because it degrades WOMEN??? Are you fucking kidding me? no more delicately strung up lights anymore, lazy fucks just plug in giant blowup Santa's and hook up pre-strung light icicles in an easy to snap on strip. Not to mention the crowds, and the lines, and the traffic. Who needs it? Ba-hum-bug! kids are getting the short end these days.

But I digress. Anyone see it as a religious holiday anymore?

Thoughts?
