Nah, it's actually pretty simple. All of these people want:
a) sale right away
b) are giving a rediculous price
c) won't do business through email (usually)
d) definitely won't pick up a phone
e) won't do any other payment method besides Epassporte
As far as domain purchases go I've done dozens of buys and sells using Afternic and Sedo - that's always the best way to go!
