I will put one more set of comments on this.
#1 - Shouldn't he be banned from the NFL for his association with gambling? Dog fighting is about gambling and illegal. I would think that is enough to warrant banning him.
#2 - He deserves pretty much the worst punishment that you can think of if for no other reason than putting a multi-million dollar career in the shitter, just to fight dogs! It isn't like he was going to make millions fighting dogs, so WTF??? Did he need more fame and street cred? No, he was a fuck-tard that screwed himself out of ~$50,000,000. For that he should be taken out and beaten with bamboo. Stupidity on that level should be very painful!
