We probably kill billions of chickens, cows, and other animals for food. We enslave wild animals for zoos and carnivals (science and entertainment). We also kill hundreds of millions to further scientic research for the benefit of mankind. Go to the horse races and we shoot a horse on the spot when it breaks its leg. What Michael Vick did was somewhat barbaric and immoral, but legally he did nothing wrong. There was gambling and entertainment value in his endevors. In many cultures this is an accepted form of entertainment. If I had a cockroach fighting a centipede on a webcam would I be arrested? Where do you draw the line? (Is my only point). Also what if these dog fights had some religious significance? Even in the bible there's undeniable proof that an animals' lives were expendable. There was countless sacrifices in the New and Old Testament and even Jesus himself took a demon from a possessed teen and cast it into 12 swine (proving one human life is worth more than 12 pigs.) People have different comfort levels but at the end of the day, we kill animals for MANY reasons and Michael Vick has been extremely cooperative during this whole process and it only hurt him more. Another example of the white man keeping the black man down. I now wear a fur hat and almost bought a fox jacket yesterday. I am trying to find a place that sells American Eagle omlettes and baby seal sausage for breakfast. I am anti-animals, pro humans. I hope Vick works out 20hrs a day, doesn't get raped and comes back to be the most unstoppable force in the NFL.
