Obama is really in a tricky situation.

If black people support him, white people automatically say it's because he's black too.

If too many black people support him then lots of white people that may have supported him would stop. This thread is proof as it's a look into the psyche of a lot of young white Americans.

Oprah is ok but the worst thing that could happen for Obama is for people like Diddy coming out in support for him. I'm sure Obama is concerned about this.

I think the fact that Jesse Jackson, Farrakhan and Al Sharpton DON'T like him should make a lot of the white voters feel at ease.

Strangely, that's a very good sign IMHO.
