No, I've been told by people who were in situations much like the one we are currently in that the reports that make the news are mostly false and don't contain nearly half the story. I take what the mainstream media reports with a grain of salt because I know that they all spin stories to further their own agendas. One event can be covered by multiple media agencies and they will all have different info and angles.
What I'm saying is that there is always more to the story then what is reported and to say otherwise is pretty dumb.
