What people forget (And instead claim that any dissenting thoughts are conspiracy theorists) is that the US has already done this before (AND IT IS ON RECORD! DUE TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT)
You can go to the national archives and read up on the Spanish American war. The US blamed an attack on SPAIN in order to wage war and control the shipping lanes. There was additional information (Which was published back in 2000) that US Intelligence had sunk a Japanese Submarine of the coast of Hawaii months prior to the PH attack. Why is it hard to believe that our own govt could do something to it's own people to reach a greater goal in their eyes.
