I think after xmas there will many more hd dvd players, consumers pressure will create a winner. They are much cheaper, I got a toshiba as a early xmas gift. The uprez on it is amazing, they make standard dvd's look wonderful.Beta was a better format but vhs was more affordable. More affordable always wins.
