Hi all, sorry for the late response. This 15 hours behind thing makes keeping up with the boards something you've got to do in prime hours for more enjoyable activities.
As far as legality goes, anywhere in the world, we're no different than the tens of thousands of phone books, newspapers and other advetising outlets. We simply provide a digital medium for escorts to advertise on and access to interested clients. From there, all of the content is user-generated, un-moderated and as free as a bird. In our terms and conditions, we ask the escorts and members to agree that nothing they do would ever lead to any violations of applicable laws in any jurisdiction that applies to them and we would never support or agree with anyone doing or saying anything else.
Our escort reviews are simply works of fiction enjoyed in the same manner as letters to penthouse and any acronyms used on the site or in the ads mean whatever the person who wrote it intended, as we can't possibly know what they meant when they wrote it.
The program, sites, database and every other element are owned and operated by people and companies that are not American and hosted in Amsterdam. In other areas of the world, the law and lawmakers are a bit more enlightened, so it's just easier to operate in their jurisdictions.
For any US webmasters who want to include an escort white label on their own domain or for use as a non-compete upsell on their sites, there's a few things to remember. They do not leak traffic, instead they actually increase retention, page views and ad impressions and since we host the site, manage the database and do everything else, you have no legal liability for a tool you use any more than you would a banner for another site or product.
I hope that clears up any questions, if not, feel free to hit me on IM or back here. ;)
