A few years ago a pretty big sponsor changed all his linking codes from Trial to full monthly memberships, and then threatened me over ICQ that they'd cancel my affiliate account including all rebills if I wouldn't update the text on all my textlinks (1000s).

They were one of my main sponsors till that day, and I never built anything for them again.
