If you live in or get your information in a vacuum, then your view is going to be lopsided. If you only read or watch things that already agree with your point of view, and assume that anyone who disagrees has been bought or is controlled by the government, then of course you're going to believe in conspiracy theories.
If you listen to both sides of the argument with an open mind, and apply logic and common sense, I think it's very unlikely you're going to come out on the side of the conspiracy theorists.

You summed it all up right here. These left wingers see what they want to see because of a hatred for a president. "I hate Bush", i.e, he must be an evil mastermind who killed 3,000 Americans.
This is the first time two skyscrapers were struck by jet aircraft that damaged and burned the structure enough to make them collapse. They believe they are experts on such events and know which way debris should fall and how fast metal and concrete should make it to the ground. They are the worst incarnation of a know-it-all assholes. That guy in the office who thinks he's an expert at everything and you always want to punch him in his fucking face.
