this was a wide ranging information gathering breach of privacy
it wasn't a case of one person that was already charged... they went and got a bunch of email accounts from many people.... obviously one could theorize that the privacy of many innocent people were breached....
where does it stop?
apparently iphones have a built in backdoor to unknowingly track it's users (
government spying on iphones )
as technology marches on, these kinds of privacy issues should be front and center, as governments can't be trusted to preserve the rights of individuals
