uhmm... so that they can sell more of their crap?
Don't go thinking that there's some nob sitting there hand submitting to you. They have spiders that scour the net endlessly looking for any forms they can find that will accept a spam submission while they sleep.
Their spiders submit to our forms, get onto our comments, guestbooks, reviews, etc and then they have bots hitting forums all over the net linking to those new submissions that their spiders just made.
What you end up with is a tangled web of cross links and a huge network of spam crap that people just can't avoid.
