max'd out cards is a typical characteristic of the american economy for the past.. 30 years thus its somewhat seasonal
decline in value of the dollar wont affect their purchasing power NOW. why would they spend less if their currency is worth less COMPARED to other currencies? From what i remember CPI has not increased significantly. Prices wont jump significantly as they did with the fluxuation of the american dollar in the past 3-4 weeks.
rise in gas prices is the only thing americans can see as an increase in expense... for your argument :D
