I have seen people wear them in public and I have female friends who wear hooker shoes in public and they are NOT hookers, just normal people. I know some people who are short and wear them to look taller. I think it's fine to wear them if you're going to be in the car and not doing much walking. Don't ever wear them walking on the street, especially with a short skirt because you might get mistaken as a hooker, but yea, I know people who wear those in public.
