There are no such thing as a victim less crime some crimes are more disgusting than others but the in my eyes the penal system should be in place to rehabilitate people not just be a punishment and continuing punishing people after they serve their time is just wrong no matter what crime they committed, it could be a 18 year old boy getting caught with his girlfriend for 2 years the day before she turns 18 and he is technically a sex offender.

What about drunk drivers? I mean if you do it once you are likely to do it again right? You have already shown you lack judgment so why not brand you like the piece of shit you are to try to avoid you killing someone while driving under the influence?
I in no way support sex offenders but I strongly believe that when you have done your time you should be given a chance to show you have improved yourself.

Exactly. Drunk drivers have higher recidivism rates than pedos. And drunk drivers can KILL and severely hurt everyone INCLUDING children.
If having a boatlaod of pedos on the street is a problem then the simple solution is too keep them locked up longer. But people are too cheap to pay for the extra prison space needed, so they'll sacrifice saftey to save a few $$ on their tax bill. Of course they think some stupid list and keeping someone an extra 2000 feet from a church or school or park will keep them safer. I can walk 2000 feet in about 7 minutes. And everyone one of these child killers that get caught was on some fucking list somewhere.
