There was some pretty aweful "challenger" jokes back then that I've been expecting to see bounced around again. Like...
"Did you hear that NASA had to get another sponsor for the shuttle program?
They couldn't get 7-up"
or the worst one was....
"Q: why didn't they have a bathroom on the space shuttle Challenger?
A: the astronauts were told the could wash up on the beach"
Man, that one was harsh.
