That's why uptimes are kind of retarded :) This machine isn't doing anything important, so it's more fun to just see how long it can go.
There's very few remote kernel exploits though, I can't even remember the last one. As long as you keep applications updated/patched and don't have unneccessary services running, you're going to to be fine. I'd bet on a 10 year old kernel with no open ports over a freshly updated selinux machine with wordpress any day of the week.
