And agreed on the concept of swallowing live animals to get off. A little weird, a LOT disturbing. Unfortunately goldfish have been the subject of kids "first pets" for many years. Seems to be a universal attitude that they just don't count. As someone who values life in its myriad forms, I can hardly stand to kill a fucking wasp, even AFTER it has stung me.
