I don't think it's any secret that a significant amount of the population does not support the war in Iraq, so why would you expect those that represent the population in congress to not project those same sentiments?

Maybe it's those that continue to support the maintenance of a foreign occupation... an occupation with no end in sight that has been - from day one - based on lies, misdirection, and the marring of international relations that are actually saying "fuck the troops."

it's a shame so much partisanship exists in our government. George Washington equated the party system with that of despotism. No sense on blaming the harm done to our troops on the Democrats, imho - especially since you're identifying them as the ones with the platform ultimately resulting in removing them from harm's way.
