That is a no shit thing eh?
I also figure nearly everyone thinks Heinz or tomato catchup/ketchup when you utter the word ketchup. Kind of funny how it started out as an Asian sauce very close to soy or worcestershire before it leaped over the pond. Hell for awhile it was called tomato soy. Then it was a very large classifications of sauces that ranged from apple to zucchini in nature. Though yes outside of the culinary world ketchup is just thick tomato sauce poured out of a heinz bottle, then even that is a sad alteration from the original homemade ketchup's that are overly sweetened and lacking any freshness or originality.
Eek ok culinary geek mode off.
Again why should it really matter what or how someone else eats something. It is not an insult to the chef. It is not some universal crime. A void will not rip the fabric of reality and destroy time and space. People bitch that way because they were taught it that way for no other reason than to "grow up". Tired of being told what to do and not to do with your own preferences. Chill your wine if you want, add water or ice to distilled spirits, pick up sushi with your hands and also use the ginger as a condiment on the fish if you wish.
