Do you tip the people at McDonald's or Burger King for getting your drink, wrapping your burger and 'plating' your french fries? Me neither.
I'll tip a dollar or two if I ordered a salad and/or dessert as they have to special make those.
But if it's pretty standard, baked potato and sandwich, I don't see the point.
Part of the reason you tip a waiter/ess is because they take your order, refill your drinks, visit your table a few times and essentially spend time making your 'experience' comfortable. In any case, you tip AFTER the meal so as to give feedback on their performance.
Tipping the Pizza guy is different because I don't want him sitting on my couch for a half-an-hour while I eat, nagging me to change the channel to WWE wrestling. I tip him on the basis that pizza is pizza and the quality is generally known before you eat it.
Many times I've ordered curbside and the fries were soggy, the steak was undercooked and salad leafs were not crunchy. I can't just as well drive back and demand my hard-earned 80-cents back. So like I said, view it like you would the cashier at McDonalds or Burger King unless you know they had to do something really special.
