TIPS = To Insure Proper Service and in the old days it was paid before the person was served. I worked in the industry when I was in college (ions ago) and remember a similar instance where I had to pay $50 out of pocket because I was stiffed on a huge bill and had to tip out the bus boy, the service bar, the food runner, and the expediter. This is even after the asshole straight up asked me, "Do you work for tips or salary?". At the time I was making $2.10 an hour plus tips.
In other words, after parking I had to
PAY $60 to come to fucking work! But you see, I've been in that industry so now that I'm no longer in it and making something out of my life I actually tip 25 - 30% everytime I go out to eat. If the service is shitty I still leave at least 20%.
All that aside...anyone else receive the same email from Ron Weiner?
