When did we ever say we're perfect? We've just got the best system out there, but its far from perfect. I don't even think perfect is possible for us or any other country that has this large and diverse a population.
But however fucked up it is, it works, it does work and at the end of the day, you can go to sleep knowing when you wake up your world will still be there like always.
