I am "wide awake" and I don't get my info solely from US mainstream media.
Chavez is a tyrant and he is tightening his grip on power. He is going to turn Venezeula into Cuba but with oil. US celebrities and regular Americans who sympathize with him are the ones who need to wake up.
Erecting a monument to Che Guevera as Chavez did is an obvious sign that something is wrong with the guy.
But hey if you're a communist I am sure there is lots to love about him.
