United States is undoubtedly
Top Foreign Aid Donor Country of the world, leaving Japan, UK and Canada behind.
With this level of foreign aid, US should be the most loved country, isn't it?
My question is why so much hatred is out there in the world for US, especially for its government?
I personally do no dislike or hate US citizens, i rather like most of people I have met and did business with.
What I dislike are policies of US Govt., which allow them to interfere in other nations' internal affairs too much. If you give aid to a certain country, do you get right to decide who should rule there and who should not? How people of that country should live? What they should eat and what they should not?
etc.
Second thing is hypocrisy of US govt., When Israel can have nukes, why not North Korea? When Pakistan can have them, why not Iran? What is the point behind this which I am missing?
I am not buying "responsible countries" logic here .. US have proved itself most irresponsible country by using nukes once, and everyone knows they will use again if they need to. And I guess its what nukes are made for.
According to me, these are the two major reasons of overall hatred and dislikeness for US.
What is your answer to the question?
I repeat:
With this level of foreign aid, US should be the most loved country, isn't it?
My question is why so much hatred is out there in the world for US, especially for its government?
