That pissed me off too..
It was much less then 30k though. It still sucks regardless of amount when all the rebills you've earned get snapped out from under you with hardly no notice at all.
If I remember correctly they cut off all of their webmasters except a select few because of a change in credit card billing regulations.
Most AVS programs worked with their affilates to adapt to the changes. Adult Check used it as an excuse to rip affilates off.
They did not give a fuck about the affilates who used that income to feed their children, pay their bills, or what not. The same affilates that helped build AC got fucked in the end.
That was a piss poor way to treat affilates and the mere passage of time isn't going to forgive that. Atleast not in my mind.
I won't deal with any comapny that does business that way. I can't imagine anybody who would.
