I usually say hello first anyway. Sometimes, they don't say anything back but it doesn't bother me. I start thinking about all the shit that might be going on in their life--marriage problems, hate their job and have a jerk for a boss, cat died...
Saying hello to me might be the very last thing on their mind.
Either that, or they just have no manners, and I still don't give a rat's ass.
