If they claim that their patent is so broad that it covers pay-per-view video, then I would think there must be a shitload of prior art. Also, if they claim it covers that, then they may be neglecting their patent by not enforcing it.

I spoke to a shopping cart company about a similar patent issue they had stated that a compnay that holds a patent doesn't have to enforce their patent against every person or company in violation. They can pick and choose their battles. Kind of sucks I think.
