To put an end to all of the USD threads... here is the main reason why the US dollar is sliding !
Oil.
Oil is at 90 something dollars/barrel right now.
Canadian dollar is going up because Canada has alot of oil in Alberta.. notice everytime price / barrel goes up the canadian dollars vs the US dollar goes higher?
When the oil returns down to 50 - 60 bucks a barrel you'll see the USD at 1.15 cnd.. and within after 4-5 years of pull out from IRAQ .. democrats in the white house... You'll see the usd vs canadian back to 1.30+
The price of oil isn't coming lower anytime soon in fact it will probably go higher with all the Iran talks so expect the USD to fall even lower.. I wouldn't be suprised if it hits 0.78 - 0.80 cnd.
