Well a commercial plane could hit it... but not where one with a 135 ft. wingspan could all get pulled into a so-so sized hole.. Especially with 2, 6 ton engines made to some extent of titanium.. and designed to break away on impact..
But... that doesn't matter... CNN said a 757... so it must have been...
