well, there is no substitute for a proper diet AND exercise, but the original poster is on the right track.
in addition to being on mostly a raw foods diet approx 2000 cal/day, and 30 mins of bicycling + 15 minutes of bowflex daily, i take these supplements just before bed:
calcium tablet
fish oil capsule
saw palmetto extract tab
1000mg vitamin C
vit B complex tab
vitamin E
centrum silver
don't know if it works, but i have not had any illness in over 10 years, not even a cold or flu.

on a side note: took my wife out to dinner last night at Peking Kitchen (chinese food buffet all you can eat deal) --- first time we'd eaten in a restaurant in about a month.
EVERY single person in there (except for the help) was overweight or obese.
Every fucking one.
we were the only flat bellies in the place.
