i've watched it quite a bit on On Demand just bcause i have watchd everything else there and neeed background noise while i work.
i havent really paid attention to this... but last season or 2 seasons ago, there was another son that he had no relationship with until they finally met when he was like 18 or something..it was all on the show. and of course, he's now "in the family" and part of the crew etc and their all happy and perfect out there catching bad guys and loving each other and life and catching butterflies together.
i would imagine this kid was the one who did this. that some guy calling himself "dad" said "hey, you're not going to bring any n1ggers around my house" with regards to his girlfriend and he rightly freaked out and acted out and totally took down his career. seems like a normal thing for a kid in that situation to do.
but yeah... the whole premise of the show is that he's the ex-con that found god and is out there doing "the lords work" and helping people, reforming people, reaching out, speaking to kids etc etc etc. (in spite of the minor fact that he's also the one bailing crackheads and wife beaters out of prison)
so thats why its a big issue.
