Seriously - agree. A US customer should have a pricing in dollar - same with other countries where they should be presented with signup pages in their own currency - and not necessarily all at the same price level. The price should represent the currency worth to the corp operating that website.
It's totally ridiculous from other angles sandman - example, a $30 monthly membership is only 15 GBP in the UK. That barely covers the cost of 3 packets of cigarettes a month in the UK. As a marketable price a website membership in the UK should prob be in the region of 24.95 GBP (around $50), otherwise there can be a tendency for surfers to think the site has little content.
