The problem is thought that there are plenty of Tours in Japanese from several of the main Western Sites, but the members area is the same old generic one for all languages. Not great for retention, and the Japanese stay a long time if they like what they see !!!! and get the site support they need.
We are a Japanese company with full support in Japanese, Korean, Chinese and English. Would you go to a site that is in French and can only support in French. I doubt it. Why would the Japanese be any different.
The Japanese are very brand loyal, well so are most of us, and going with a site they know and trust is important. Like I said before, there are a few in Japan, but we are bigger than most. We have had several articles written in the yahoo Japan Broadband Magazine helping our exposure, but more importantly, having the content they want
