Imagine for a moment that it was YOUR young son or daughter who was sitting in a classroom with the number one target in the United States at the moment that war broke out and our nation came under attack. I for one would want my child out of that situation and somewhere safe IMMEDIATELY.
Think about what the President's detail knew at the time he walked into that classroom on the morning of September 11th. They knew that there were reports of 'multiple' hijacked aircraft in the United States. They knew that an airplane had hit one of the World Trade Center towers in New York City.
Now you have to freeze this moment in time. Forget everything that you know NOW about what happened that day and think about it from their perspective as the events are unfolding. You know that multiple jet aircraft have been taken over and are probably being crashed into buildings. How many aircraft have actually been hijacked? Ten? Twenty? Sure we know now that it was only four planes and that none of them were in Florida but how would you have any way of knowing this at that moment? You wouldn't.
So the Secret Service, knowing that America may very well be under attack, decides anyway to send the United States number one target into a room full of innocent schoolchildren. A few minutes later your worst fears are confirmed when you get word of another plane striking the World Trade Center. We are at war. Our country is being attacked.
Now at this point nobody knows that it is terrorists that are behind the unfolding plot. Nobody knows for sure how many other planes are involved and what other types of attacks our enemy might have in store for us this morning. All we know for sure is that we are definitely at war.
Of course, upon hearing the news of the second plane hitting the WTC and reports of other airliners still lost in our skies, the Secret Service swooped in and rushed the President of the United States to safety and cleared all of the children from the entire school. Wait...what's that? They did nothing you say? Hmmm.
What I don't understand is why every parent who had a child in that Sarasota classroom on the morning of September 11th has not filed a lawsuit against the Secret Service, the US Government, the school district....someone! I would personally be outraged at the fact that you left my child in the same room, let alone the same building, with our country's number one target when our country came under attack.
Of course now we can look back at the situation and say, "It was no big deal...nobody in that school was ever in any danger." But how could they have possibly known that at the time it was happening? They couldn't have. At least not if you believe the 'official' story.
